SOUND LABORATORY: DECONSTRUCTION AND DIGITALISATION

Matthew Odell and Darragh Morgan, Upper Chapel, 3:00-3:50

Transforming classical music

Our series of Pierre Boulez events continues with the intense and violent Piano Sonata Number 2, a deconstruction of ‘classical’ music, whilst Anthemes II (for violin and electronics) puts half the music into the hands of technology. In collaboration with University of Sheffield Concerts.
